I decided to do something a little different, so I'd like feedback on how you guys read the design and feel about it. Since my work crosses over into sequential and animation styles so often, I wanted to do something to reflect that.
Front of my business card!
I just sent out for these a few days ago, aaaah.
And now the back.
And now an envelope design. NOT SURE HOW I'M GOING TO GET THESE PRINTED. If you guys have any knowledge on the subject, please let me know.
And the final project of the quarter! We had to make a package design. I chose to do Peach-flavored tea. And peaches remind me of butts, so I drew little cherubs all over it. I WISH I HAD TAKEN PHOTOS OF THE MAQUETTE! Shame on meeee... I might make another one, we shall see.
I'll admit, I'm not as pleased with this one as I'd like to be. The figures are too stiff and the coloring isn't my best. If you have any suggestions, please, let me know!! I like to go back in and fix my art, even after I've turned it in.
Project 2 for my Type and Image Class! Design a book cover.
I chose Little Women.
The four girls always reminded me of my mom and her sisters, so I tried to make them resemble my aunts to an extent. After I handed in the project, I went back into the illustration and tweaked it around. Instead of a book cover, I made it an illustration ready for framing, for my grandparents.
What do you guys think? Is there anything else that I can change on it to really make it pop? I'm always open to critique!
